Pleased to let you know that I have joined DDIM e.V. - Dachgesellschaft Deutsches Interim Management, the leading association for professional interim management in Germany.
One of the things I found intriguing about DDIM is the set of working groups focusing on particular industries, like Food or Healthcare, or on specific topics, such as process optimization and project management.
Restructuring is of course much in focus these days. Personally, I hope to contribute to understanding the next step: How do you turn restructuring into recovery? If a team has had to focus all its energy and determination on cutting cost and reducing headcount, how do you lead the same team to play offense: go after growth and seek out opportunity? While always preserving and nourishing the frail financial base just re-created?
A tough task, where a little help from one's friends will certainly be welcome.
