A first evening from 17:50h to 22:30h, then three days with a total of 33 hours of training: Comfort was not part of the agenda of ‚The Complete Negotiator‘, an intensive negotiation training offered by The GAP Partnership [www.thegappartnership.com], the German version of which I participated in earlier this month.
Instead: a precise, energetic trainer, who was always able to integrate the reality of the participants. Tightly timed cases, in which solutions were negotiated jointly and/or against each other, were followed by detailed video-based analysis. Dedicated discussions alternated with highly concentrated theory which closely covered the cases and the practice of the participants, its focus always on the right strategy for the situation at hand. The Complete Negotiator concluded with extensive mutual feedback.
Judging from my experience, a highly attractive investment for anyone who negotiates on a regular basis in her or his professional life. And a valuable addition to the toolkit of all executives engaging in Financial Leadership.
And as this training convincingly shows, flinching professionally is an important part of this kit.
