In der Betriebswirtschaft wird das Konzept der Finanziellen Führung breit diskutiert, und 'Finance Business Partner' ist mittlerweile auch im deutschsprachigen Raum eine häufige Stellenbezeichnung.
Aber eine traditionelle Controlling-Abteilung in eine echte Führungsrolle zu bringen, ist anspruchsvoll. Und viele Controller oder Controllerinnen, die zum ersten Mal vor der Aufgabe stehen zu erklären, warum - anders als die Produktionsleitung sagt - ein bestimmter Automatisierungsschritt nicht nur finanziell Sinn ergibt, sondern auch Vorteile in der Fertigungshalle bringt, fühlen sich für diese Rolle nicht gerüstet.
